Up-cycle and Re-cycle Lighting

Up-cycle and Re-cycle Lighting

I found quite interesting examples of up-cycle and re-cycle lighting designs. They all show excellent sustainability and create unique and alternative atmosphere.

Affordable Building Materials from Recycled Agricultural Waste

Affordable Building Materials from Recycled Agricultural Waste

Low-Cost
Plant-Based
Sustainable
Agricultural Waste

I love the idea of using waste material and reusing it again for good purpose. In this project plant-based agricultural wastes from the cultivation of rice, maize and cassava crops were reused again. From these wastes natural fibers have been made. They are  using as building materials and replacing higher-cost alternatives, this is very important for people living in Africa and other developing areas.

Recycling

Many people imagine that sooner or later everything that they throw away just "disappears" somewhere. But how quickly does this process occur? For example plastic which is disposed in landfills in the dark, it will disintegrate in  400-500 years. Instead of polluting environment where we live we can use throw away plastic in a much better way. Garth Britzman  knows well how to do that. We all can take example from him and create something beautiful.
