I like this idea because it is resourceful and it is is using  very small amount of the expensive timber(oak, beech, maple, cherry, walnut, iroko, teak and wenge).This method is beautiful, because you can see detail of the wood. The transparent resin is very light and clear you can almost see through and allows the light to show best parts of the wood.
